I have never seen Nan King so swamped with people, but it was New Years Eve and everyone was waiting inside for their orders. All of their staff was working hard to get orders to customers in a timely manner, and despite the amount of people waiting for their food, I still got mine very promptly and was in and out in about 5 minutes.

Food was hot and ready when I got to Nan Kings. Both my wife and I thought there could be more flavor, and was wondering if MSG was used at all? Chinese food was better when we lived near Boston.

Everything tasted freshly prepared. Beef teriyaki was very tender and delicious. House special fried rice was actually white and so much better than the typical house fried rice coated with soy sauce. The house lo mein and the mixed vegetables (special request filled accurately) were delicious as always, and the shrimp with mushrooms were an added bonus to this order. Portions for everything were very generous, leaving leftovers for the next day--or two or three! The front desk person was very pleasant and completed the transaction efficiently. We go to Nan King when the urge for Chinese food strikes, and we've always been satisfied with the food. Nan King is not far from home, and that makes it even more enticing. Thank you for another great Saturday night dinner at home!

When I walked in to Nan King and told him I had placed my order online, hus response was, "uh oh." They prepared my food in less than 10 minutes but it defeated the purpose of ordering online. The food was alright.

Fast preparation and ready as scheduled. Consistent quality, dependable. Staff very appreciative of business. Teriyaki Beef exceptional, love the Lo Mein, Fried Rice very fresh tasting, Seafood Wor-Bar flavorful and good amount of seafood.

Nan King is a legend in the area. Traditional Chinese, no frills, just good, consistent quality food when you need it. I've been eating there off and on for 20+ years, and will continue to do so.
